SolarWall Project for The AA
Overview
We completed our final project for 2019 yesterday, supplying a SolarWall Video Wall Controller to The AA in Birmingham, UK. Our AV Technicians were on hand to support during the install and the project was finished to the customers satisfaction!
The AA in Birmingham were looking for a 2×3 video wall to use for the call centre. They required a unit from SEADA that could handle multiple inputs and outputs and one that could be customised to their specifications. We fitted the unit with HDMI outputs and HDBaseT inputs/outputs. HDBaseT was required as their video source was installed a good distance away from the video wall itself. Our HDBaseT units would allow them to show their source material onto the video wall without any loss of quality and for the transmission of uncompressed HDMI audio video signal over the CAT-5 or CAT-6/7 cable.
Our SolarWall 2000 video wall controllers are high performance systems based on pure hardware architecture. They are ideal for most video wall applications, ranging from digital signage to command and control. Employing cutting edge crossbar technology and high-speed FPGA, SW2000 controllers offer systems with up to 144 HD graphics outputs and up to 128 HD video capture channels. For this unit, The customer wanted 6 outputs and 7 inputs to use in their call centre. It will be used for a command and control environment in order to show their various apps and information all at the same time.
Seada also provided them with the use of our iOS app for the SolarWall, which enables the user to control aspects of the video wall remotely, without having to use the control PC to make changes.
This install turned out great and we are certainly looking forward to more installs in 2020!. avinstall videowall
